Pilates ClassWhat is Pilates?
Pilates is a series of gentle exercises done on a mat in either a sitting or lying down position. The primary focus is on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength and flexibility. There are several benefits to Pilates including: improving body alignment and flexibility; developing core strength; controlling body weight; alleviating back pain; stimulating the circulatory system; assisting in the healing of soft tissue injuries; and helping in the prevention of osteoporosis.

As we look for ways to deal with life's stresses, Pilates has become a great tool in managing that stress. Often recommended by doctors and chiropractors, Pilates is finding its place among more traditional workouts and execise options. In fact, serious weightlifters and athletes incorporate Pilates into their training programs. Pilates is a great way to create a healthy body, mind, and lifestyle by minimizing the time spent exercising and yet getting the benefits of a whole body workout.

Pilates is offered weekly as a stand alone or as a part of a multifaceted workout routine. We bring our passion for training, knowledge of Pilates and belief in holistic approaches to health and fitness to every session and client. Because of the small class sizes, we can design specific Pilates workouts for everyones fitness goals, and the overall fitness level of the class. The classes are energetic, motivating and everyone knows each other on a first name basis. We keep things lively by changing routines, creating fitness challenges and encouraging interaction between participants.

Tuesday’s     5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

(Note: more classes will be added as enrollment increases!)

Price Packages
4 Sessions - $40 (monthly fee)
8 Sessions - $80

Our Pilates classes are taught by certified instructor Jenna. Jenna is a certified Pilates instructor with the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA).
